funny, i had no problems slicing it; nor did i find it too soft. almost sounds like you are describing a totally different dessert! i can imagine how good it would be frozen too though :)

Your cake looks wonderful. My husband did mention that he thought it would taste great frozen. I have two small tortes left that I just put in the freezer. Thanks for the tip..
