I stumbled on your site and was totally inspired to make these beautiful turnovers. I had never used puff pastry before. The filling was a little tart for the tots. Thank you for the beautiful posts and inspiration.

Whew… I’m glad all is well for Henry! I know what you mean about your dog owning you… my knee goes bad, I barely flinch. Bear’s hip strains and he limps and I’m practically bawling.

Henry must be so cute with the Elizabethan collar. Bear refused to let it cramp his style:

So glad that your little Henry is on the mend — I am sure that the whole experience was scary! I bet Henry’s getting as many whoppers as he wants right now, with not an olive in sight (I’m still chuckling about that one from your Chocolate Malted Whopper Drop post!). Your turnovers looks fabulous — I made these again last night; this recipe is totally a keeper!
