i keep trying to imagine the heathens' faces if i put the salad (the bane of their existence) on a pizza (god's most perfect food group). The mutiny would cause a fallout you would hear in Nashvegas.

Oh yummers.. and I broke my meatless monday this eve.. pewpies.. here I had the best weather for dough.. chicken kiev wasn't bad.. but then I was bad. But we did have the same lemon w/ the light salad and sliced warm mators from the garden.

Thanks for Ina's recipe as I always seem to forget that she is such a great chef (even though she says she isn't one).

thanks for the recommendation! I was thinking of making pizza over Labor Day weekend as an end-of-summer treat. But I've tried homemade pizza once or twice and didn't like the crusts I made at all…too bready or too blah. If you and Ina swear (or not) by this one, that's good enough for me!

Nice way to make pizza for two! While I'm sure Ina's pizza crust recipe is fantastic, I have my own that I make in a food processor that absolutely never fails.

Well if you aren't the second person to swear by an Ina Garten recipe today. If she had a nickel for every time someone swore by her, she would have at least 10 cents.

I am going to have to give this Barefoot Contessa person a closer look. Just not at the bottom of her feet, which I imagine to be quite dirty and calloused.

Fool proof sounds good to me. I haven't yet been brave enough to make my own dough, so I get it from the pizzeria down the street to make my pizzas at home. I made this one with arugula for lunch like four days in a row one week — delicious!

Thanks for the reminder of how perfect that pizza crust is! It was one of my first yeasted attempts and it was so easy and delicious. I loved the lemony salad and the hot/cold combo, too.
