I saw the recipe last week...told my sister about it...she owns the ice cream freezer....and it was sooooo good. We doubled the batch. Kids and adults all thought it was soooooo good. We are already thinking of other flavors to make. When I was a kid a local ice cream place sold grape pineapple ice cream....that is the next flavor on my list.
Thank you for the great recipe :)

This is wonderful!! I have to try this recipe, orange-cream is my flavor of choice in ice-cream, popsicle or gelato, I remember my dad would take me and my sister to a small family owned italian restaurant (i'm from venezuela, and we have a big italian community in my home town) for spaghetti Bolognese and gelato, and my ice cream cone was always a scoop of orange gelato with a scoop of vanilla...absolutely delicious! the flavors where so intense, so I'm definitely going to try to make your recipe: )

I make ice cream twice a week (Gin and Tonic Sorbet is always...always...in the freezer) and the kids often don't like my Ginger/Chocolate or Basil/Strawberry pairings. Well, I didn't get any complaints with this one. They love it. It's good as a slushy with a little vodka for a more grown-up version, too. Love to read your blog and have made several things...all very good. Thanks.

This is absolutely Southern-iced-tea sweet – so sweet it makes your teeth hurt! I just had a Stewart's Orange n' Cream soda for the first time in years. I bet it'd be good with that too. They were my fave when I was younger - now I only drink them now and then.
Looks refreshing!

Whoa – that does sound amazingly good. I just had a Stewart's Orange n' Cream soda for the first time in years. you need to rename this "heals a broken heart" trashy orange sherbet.
because really, it does. at least it takes it to a dull ache.
