I've been through the dog with an Elizabethan collar ordeal. Only he was a Bouvier. Lost two beautiful crystal candlesticks when a cat jumped on his tail while he was napping in the sunshine by the coffee table!.
And also a belated welcome to Nashville. It's a great place to live and is getting better all the time.

It reminds me of my old favorite sandwich I used to order every week back when I worked (like 5 years ago) and we would order out for lunch at this gourmet bagel shop (we've since moved, and that lovely bagel shop has closed). Oh man was it delicious, I think it had flavored cream cheese, sprouts, pickle slices and shredded carrots, if I remember correctly. I've never heard of the onion sprouts, I will have to keep a look out for them, just like you I like onion flavor but absolutely hate the texture and it just sticks out to me and ruins anything I find it on. Thanks for bringing back memories of one of my favorite sandwiches, I've been wanting to try to recreate it, but am afraid I would be addicted and need to make them all the time :)

Mmmm! Thank you for inspiring me to shut up or put up.

This is exactly the kind of gourmet sandwich I pay $10 for at fancy coffee shops, and then grouse “I could make this at home!”…and then never do. I love the freshness of all the ingredients.

Heh, we used to call these sandwiches in college “B’sandwich” because we always made them on bagels. The genius of the TCB: one of my complaints about sandwiches is the messiness of them sometimes. This does take care of the business.

This sandwich looks phenomenal.
